Iron Bridge Celebrates 2011
EMF were invited for the 5th year to supply lighting and special effects for the 2011 celebrations. As darkness fell over the gorge, the Ironbridge was transformed into an ethereal apparition as colour changing LED floodlighting illuminated in spectacular style. On the southbank 100m giant images were projected on the autumn treeline. Spread along the 500m Wharfage further colour wash lighting bathed the trees and river area with building projections. Finally, at the EON power station site an 85m wide logo was projected that could clearly be seen from over 1.5 miles away from the bridge with a huge crowd amassed at the town centre to wathc the grand display drawing the day’s events to a close.

BBC Beacon
As a tribute to all journalists that have been injured or lost their lives whilst reporting in action, EMF Technology supplied a 7KW Space Cannon search light beaming into the night sky and clearly visible from London’s Regents Street and the West End. EMF have provided a permanent installation with full automated control for daily operation throughout the year.

Search Lights For The BBC
Location: BBC Broadcasting House London. As part of the launch for the BBC’s “Breathe” light sculpture which has been designed as a lasting tribute to all journalists that have been injured or lost their lives whilst reporting in action, EMF Technology supplied 2x 7KW Space Cannon search lights beaming into the night sky and clearly visible from London’s Regents Street and the West End.
Due to the impressive power of the search lights, the BBC is now in negotiation with EMF to install a 7KW searchlight within the sculpture on a permanent basis this summer that will automatically operate every evening during the BBC’s news transmission throughout the year.

World Book Night Trafalgar Square
World Book Night - hosted by Graham Norton with readings by Alan Bennet and Suggs. EMF supplied 60,000 lumens of digital video projection across the square, with a video mapped mask to suit the front of the stage complete with "Picture in Picture" projection. A 7000 watt slide projector illuminated Nelsons Column with a stage camera rig and a microwave live camera link from the stage to the VIPs’ in Canada House.

National Restaurant chain Zizzi comissioned EMF Projection to install permanent outdoor projection units ajacent to their outlets. EMF provided specially designed enclosures to protect the equipment from the elements, complete with a heating and cooling system and a remotely located control system for easy content updates.
